After you contact me, we can schedule a face-to-face assessment. This session typically lasts 75-90 minutes. Please  print and complete the forms on the “contact/forms” page and bring them with you to our first session to save time.

At this first session, we will discuss why you may require counseling and see if we can work together. An assessment session costs $125 if you wish to self-pay. If you are a DWI client the cost of an assessment is $400. That will cover the cost of the assessment and ancillary work that will be needed to be completed. The cost of the toxicology that will need to be provided will still have to be paid for separately. I use LabCorp and Quest Labs for specimen collection.

We’ll then schedule follow up sessions as needed and collaboratively determine how long we believe each session should be. A session starts at 30 minutes and costs $25 for each 15 minutes our session lasts. You may pay by cash, check, credit card or Zelle.

As of 1-23-24 I accept Healthfirst, Cigna, Empire BCBS, Magnacare, UMR, United Healthcare (UHC), all four Oxford plans (Liberty, Garden, Metro, and Freedom), several Optum/Oscar plans, and Northwell health. I am also a community care provider for the VA for mental health, but for that, you will need a referral from the VA. I will update this page as I accept other insurance plans in the future.

You may utilize your insurance’s “out of network” benefits if you have that benefit. This means you can pay me for the session directly, then I will give you an invoice/receipt that you can provide to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement. I suggest you call your insurance provider to determine if you have this benefit before our first session.
